And so for the next few weeks, I am going to share some exercises that you can do to get you ready for the year ahead. I’ve been talking a lot on the podcast about how important it is to take some time to assess and to make changes. And so I’m giving you some tools that can help you with that process. And this week’s podcast I am providing an abundance visualization and exercise and that will help you activate abundance in the upcoming year.

Abundance is something that comes from our inner world versus the external results. Although it may seem counterintuitive, if you wait for the abundance to come to you, and that being your validation, if you wait for the abundance to show up in your life in all the ways that you desire and then believe in it and then attract it, it’s not going to happen or it will be really short lived. You will always be at the mercy of external circumstances. So what seems like abundance from validation is fleeting and it’s not true. This visualization is designed to support you in uncovering what is getting in your way of feeling abundant. So when you are ready, close your eyes, center your body in space and take three deep breaths in and let them out. And with each inhale you’re able to relax and go deeper, inhaling to bring in calm relaxation and exhale to release tension. With each breath you are going deeper and deeper into relaxed state.

So we’re going to bring awareness to each part of your body now. And with that awareness comes relaxation and surrender. So now focus your attention on your toes and feet and release all tension. Release all resistance. Moving up your calves and releasing all tension. Inhaling, exhaling and releasing. And now moving that awareness to your thighs and your seat. Releasing on all tension there, moving up to your core abdomen, feeling that area, relax and release.

Move to your lower back, mid back, upper back. Inhaling relaxation and exhaling tension, bringing awareness to your shoulders. We tend to hold a lot of tension there. Just taking a few moments to bring some breath into your shoulders, relaxing them and even feeling them drop down. Now moving the awareness to your neck, face and back of your head. Relaxing and releasing. Now that you’re in a relaxed state, bring yourself to a beautiful place in nature. Feeling the breeze, notice the colors and flowers.

And as you’re walking in your place in nature, you see that there’s a place for you to take a seat. So as this place appears, you are drawn there to sit and to reflect. Here you are surrounding yourself with your place in nature and you’re surrendering to yourself and your higher self. As you sit and relax, you’ll start to notice that a symbol or image appears in front of you. This symbol has something to do with what is stopping you from being abundant. As the symbol appears, you bring awareness to any thoughts, feelings that are stopping you from feeling abundant. Your higher self is showing you the images, the thoughts and the feelings. And as you are aware of these thoughts and feelings, you may feel the emotion rise up in your body.

And notice today where you are holding the resistance to bringing in abundance. And you can ask your higher self, what can I do to release this resistance? How can I truly step into my fully abundant self? So I’m going to pause for a moment and allow your higher self to provide you with a message. And if you don’t hear a message, you may see an image or a symbol. Allow whatever comes. It’s all okay, it’s receiving whatever you’re meant to receive in this moment. And as you receive this message or symbol, you’re going to bring this into your daily life. Each day your abundance grows more and more. You are able to move forward in the full expression of yourself.

You release the resistance. So no matter what is going on around you, you know you are created from divine inspiration. You are connected to the divine and you are therefore a perfect being of light. Allow this awareness to pour over you and your entire body. Bring in the abundance and embody it. And as you slowly will bring yourself back, you will bring this symbol into your life. Bring back with you all that was positive and important. And I’m going to slowly count to ten and you will return fully awake, refreshed and happy.
